FIFA World Cup South Africa 2010

South Africa 1 Mexico 1

The campaign kick-off with the host against Mexico in Johannesburg. Although they shared the point, i think the host deserve to get the three points. Only the goal post denied them a memorable victory over the Mexican.

The visitor did control the ball well and had larger possession of the ball through out the game. Steven Pienaar of Everton is the only familiar name for the host while Rafael Marquez, Franco, Giovani Dos Santos and Carlos Vela were the well known player for Mexico. I am supporting Mexico just because Manchester United new signing, Javier Hernandez was their young striker and on the bench tonight. He did play in the last 20 minutes.

Not sure my mata can tahan or not to stay awake for the second group A match between Patrice Evra against former United striker, Diego Forlan at 0230hours.
